2025 Grauburgunder Winery Hey 

We are delighted to have a Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) from Matthias Hey on offer again. Most recently, we had the 2024 ‘Naumburg Grauburgunder’, and before that – unrivalled and long since finished – the 2022 Grauburgunder Großes Gewächs from Steinmeister.

This wine proves how complex this grape variety can be. It impresses with classic aromas of juicy pear and fresh orange zest, rounded off by a hint of walnut. On the palate, it is pleasantly light and elegant rather than heavy. With its mild acidity, it is superbly balanced and finishes with a long, harmonious aftertaste. A wine that makes you want to pour yourself a second glass.
