2025 Grauburgunder Muschelkalk Grober Feetz

This Pinot Gris (Grauburgunder) has featured on our wine list every year since the 2022 vintage, so this is now its fourth vintage. This year it is not an ‘Auslese’, but for lovers of a fine Grauburgunder it is a delight, just as it is every year – one might almost say.

This wine from the Grober Feetz family winery is produced entirely by hand. It has been vinified in their cellar in Freyburg (they do since 2012), under the gentlest of conditions and with great care. The tradition stretches far back in time; as early as the 12th century, Ambrosius Grober planted a vineyard in the Blütengrund area of Großjena, which remains in the family’s possession to this day.
