2024 Riesling Ortswein Winery Böhme & Töchter VDPThe dry Riesling Orstwein from Freyburg, vintage 2024, is the second Riesling we are serving from the Böhme und Töchter winery in Gleina, following the 2023 vintage. It has slightly less acidity and residual sugar, but is certainly comparable to the 2023 vintage.
2024 Chardonnay VDP Ortswein Winery Böhme & TöchterEven the very first vintage we served in our bar – the 2023 – went down very well with our esteemed customers. We are therefore all the more delighted with the latest vintage of this Chardonnay, the 2024. Compared with its predecessor, it has slightly lower acidity and less residual sugar.
The time had finally come: the first wine tasting for one person had been booked. Given the Zurich-based wine lover’s preference for red wine, we were more than happy to deviate from our usual themed examples for guided wine tastings and eventually agreed to organise a short round trip covering white, rosé and red wines. As this well-travelled lady wanted to gain an overview of wines from the Saale-Unstrut region, there simply had to be at least one white wine included.
