2024 Klingers Muse Winery Grober Feetz
The second vintage since 2023 that we’ve been allowed to serve in our humble little hut is proving very popular once again: If a winemaker decides to experiment and creates a cuvée, he can hardly name it after a single grape variety. Here, three varieties come together: Yellow Muscat, Traminer and Scheurebe. Why did the winemakers choose ‘Klinger’s Muse’ for the label?
All three wines are grown in the so-called Max Klinger vineyard in Großjena. As the 2023 harvest approached, the Max Klinger Museum was hosting one of its exhibitions that are always well worth a visit, in this case ‘Elsa Asenijeff and Großjena’. She was the muse. Now the second vintage is in the bottle and on tap.
