2021 T & M Rotweincuvée Winery Böhme & Töchter

This combination is complex and we also found this red wine complex when we tasted it on site in Gleina: A red wine cuvée made from Cabernet-Dorio and Cabernet-Dorsa. Both crosses are based on Dornfelder and Cabernet Sauvignon (that's probably not quite right, we'll have to do some more research).

In the nose: green pepper, pepper, sour cherry, plum, blackberry Flavour: fruity, smoky, complex aromas, chocolaty, finely integrated wood, blackberries, wild herbs, vanilla. Matured for a long time in oak barrels and has been in the bottle for a good while.

The T stands for Toska, the M for Marika, the ladies of the third generation of owners of the winery.

Let the ladies themselves have their say: ‘Among connoisseurs and lovers of our wines, the blend of Cabernet Dorio and Cabernet Dorsa is considered a true classic. The blend matures for more than a year on fine oak. Here, the two enter into a harmonious sisterly co-operation. This is one of the reasons why the cuvée has borne the name of the winemaker's daughters Toska and Marika since the first vintage.’

Unfortunately, the indoor tables, which are not affected by the weather, are already fully booked. If the weather cooperates ~~(all the weather apps are still uncertain – anything seems possible, from sunshine to snow)~~, all weather apps are certain now: No rain, temperatures up to 19 degrees, partly sunny, we’ll also be serving brunch on the outdoor terrace.
